Alert! Changes To The MCAT in 2015!!

If you are anything like me, you are eagerly anticipating taking the MCAT similar to the way you eagerly await a root canal.  However painful it may be, the MCAT is an EXTREMELY important step in becoming a MD - you must take it.

For those of you who have yet to take the MCAT, there will be some important changes to the test starting in 2015!

According to the article "What Looming MCAT Changes Will Mean for Aspiring Doctors" from www.usnews.com,  the following changes will be made to the MCAT:
  • Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior and Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills.
  • Two natural sciences sections—which will test concepts that typically arise in introductory biology, general and organic chemistry, biochemistry, and physics courses.
  • The writing section will be OMITTED(!) but the test itself will be one hour longer than before - well we can't have it all right?
Are you ready for these changes? Or do you plan to take the test before these changes are added?

So What Do You Wannabe?

As my first official post, I would like to know what are your career aspirations? Also do you have a Plan B? Or maybe even a Plan C?

Do you want to become a Doctor? Nurse? A Paramedic? Maybe a Dentist? Perhaps a Radiologist?
